Westwoods, the West of England’s woodfuel and biomass energy supplier group is running two evening events in November to raise interest amongst woodland owners, forestry contractors and farmers.

The aim of the events is to provide information and advice on how these businesses can diversify into becoming woodfuel suppliers.

Markets for woodfuel are increasing massively across the region and Westwoods aim is to increase local supply from undermanged woodlands. Our expert team recognizes the barriers that exist to new entrants into the industry and this event will introduce our FREE handholding services and show how we can provide support to your business.

The events will include presentations on the local woodfuel market and how you can reduce the risk of going it alone by being part of a wood chip hub. There will also be information on grants.

The events will take place on:

• Thurs 11th Nov Rudgleigh Inn Easton-in-Gordano J19 M5
• Thurs 18th Nov George Inn Mere near Warminster

between 5:30 to 8:30pm.

Tea, coffee and a small buffet will be provided.
