Yesterday saw the launch of the Government’s Renewable Heat Incentive consultation. All the relevant documents are published here. The Wood Heat Association (WHA) has published a blog highlighting that the Government are intending to massively reduce support to the biomass heat sector.

The WHA will be holding several members only meetings where the consultation and the REA’s and WHA’s responses to it will be discussed. The WHA’s Members Meeting will take place 6th April 2016. It’s really important that members send in their views and/or attend the meeting so we can counter with a robust and unified industry response and ensure that the small and medium biomass sectors are allowed to continue to grow.
